Handy Andy Hawaii was started with you and others in mind other than ourselves.
History
As a military veteran, founder Andrew Compean began with the question of “how can I help our servicemen and women transition from the military back into civilian life?”
He was well aware of the common challenge among military veterans transitioning back into the civilian lifestyle and finding employment. This problem often leads to veteran unemployment, depression, homelessness, and other unfortunate circumstances.
So, a platform that applies the traits of what servicemen and servicewomen already have – professionalism, reliability, service quality, and integrity made sense to apply them to the home service (handyman) industry – which is what you need when hiring someone to service your home.
It all made sense, hence, in 2015 Handy Andy Hawaii was created.
From there, our goal was to create a company that strives to uphold a high standard of service.
How we planned to go about doing that was keeping you, the customer, in mind.
The bottom line that we keep in mind is we’re serving you; we’re not serving ourselves.
Our Mission
Our goal, our mission, our foundation is to do the best we can to serve you with the utmost professionalism, reliability, honesty, quality, and integrity. When we do that, trust is naturally built, and a feedback loop is created where everyone wins and is satisfied.
Don’t take our word for it. We can say anything on here. In the end, it’ll be your decision whether we served you with satisfaction.

If we didn’t live up to your satisfaction, we apologize that we fell short. We’re human and will make mistakes. And because we’re not robots that do perfect work, we offer our satisfaction guarantee.
That guarantee is if you are not satisfied with our work, we will (1) own our mistakes and learn from them, (2) work with you to reconcile and remedy the unsatisfactory work at no extra charge (just as long as it’s fair), (3) continue to strive to serve you the best we can.
We, at Handy Andy Hawaii, don’t service homes – yes, that’s what we do. But, we serve you first and then fulfill your home improvement needs.
